Deep amber copper color. Dense aromas of raisin compote, malted chocolate, and delicate baking spices follow through on a supple, silky entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body with great depth, integration, and smoothness. Finishes with a fig paste, anise, and peppery spice accented fade. Delicious and very mixable. (tasted on Mar-23-2010)

Deep amber color. Reserved aromas of cocoa, leather, caramelized nuts, buttercream, and apple-date compote follow through on a round entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with bold cedar and sandalwood notes. Finishes with a persistent, honeyed fruit, peppery spice, and firm oak tannin fade. A very dry, wood forward style that should nicely in retro cocktails. (tasted on Feb-16-2010)

Deep amber color. Aromas of spicy, honeyed drizzled dried apple and pear follow through on a soft, smooth entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with good depth and evenness of flavor. Finishes with a buttery, spicy, talc and wood accented fade. (tasted on Feb-11-2010)

Bright copper color. Aromas of butter roasted nuts, brown sugar, pear and floral talc follow through on a round, silky entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium body with layers of gingerbread and spice. Finishes with warming, spicy chocolate covered apricot and mineral fade. A nice fruit forward Cognac for mixing. (tasted on Feb-11-2010)
