Rich copper color. Deep, dense aromas of melted toffee, vanilla bean, wheat cracker, and lavish brown spices follow through on a rich, light tannic entry to a dry-yet-fruity full body with fantastic depth and cascading wave dried fruits, sweet tobacco, and peppery spice. Finishes with a long, majestic fade of praline, spice and minerals. A great bourbon. (tasted on Jan-27-2010)

Rich copper color with an olive cast. Lush chocolate covered fruit, praline, coconut macaroon, and baking spice aromas are decadent and inviting and follow through on a round, supple entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-full body with great depth and layering of honey, spice, grain and nut flavors. Finishes with a long, earthy, and warming exotic peppery spice and nut fade. A masterfully crafted whisky that flourishes with a few drops of waters. (tasted on Jan-26-2010)

Brilliant amber color. Rich polished aromas of coconut creme brulee, buttery nuts, dried apples and pears, and elegant brown spices follow through round, vibrant entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with layers of chocolate, figs, and nuts. Finishes with a very long, peppery spice, grain, honeyed tea, and mineral driven fade. A vigorous and flavorful bourbon that demands attention. (tasted on Jan-27-2010)

Pure copper color. Aromas of chocolate nougat bar, waffles, and honeyed toasted nuts follow through on a round, chewy entry to a dry-yet-fruity full body with excellent toasted grain, dried fruit, and peppery spice notes. Finishes with long, warming and tannic, nutty toffee and spice fade. Very tasty and rounds out beautifully with water. (tasted on Jan-26-2010)

Aromas of buttery praline, honey, corn meal, and golden raisin compote follow through on a supple, gentle entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with very good balance and depth. Finishes with a nice, spicy butter roasted pecan and mineral accented fade. Very balanced, evenly flavored and approachable. (tasted on Feb-23-2010)
