Aromas of mashed dried currants and prunes, fig paste, spice cake, and creamy mint follow through on a round, supple entry to a fruity sweet medium body with very good depth and balance. Finishes with a tangy, craisin, pink peppercorn, and wet limestone accented finish. Nice complexity and style. (tasted on Jul-01-2010)

Ripe, slightly smoky aromas of strawberries on the vine, cherry compote, cinnamon roll, and praline follow through on a round, crisp entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium body with red tomato, minerals and cedary tannins on the relaxed, tangy finish. Finishes with a long, crisp, powdery tannin fade with a hint of nuts and herbs. A zesty, well balanced, very table friendly wine interestingly reminiscent of a Super Tuscan. (tasted on Feb-08-2010)
