Deep ruby black color. Smoky cedar, toasty spice, red berry custard, and spiced nut aromas follow through on a round entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with very good nuanced depth and savory root vegetable notes. Finishes with a long, crisp pepper accent. A very stylish table wine to pair with pheasant stew. (tasted on Apr-19-2010)

Dark garnet color. Interesting aromas of baked berries, spice, clay, and orange zest follow through on a round, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with great depth and elegant balance. Aromas of brioche, toasted nut, and delicate lemon curd follow through on a round, vibrant entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with great depth, balance and zesty, mouthwatering acidity. Bright silvery salmon color. Mellow aromas of cherry custard and baked strawberries follow through on a round, effervescent entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with very good depth and zesty acidity. Deer ruby garnet color. Shy aromas of berries, tomato, and slate follow through on a round entry to a dry medium-to-full body with cedar and pepper notes. Finishes with a crisp, slightly pithy tannin finish. Oak closes this down a bit, give it time. (tasted on Apr-19-2010)
