Deep violet garnet color. Complex aromas and flavors of dried cassis, creme brulee, olive, leather, spice, and cocoa. Rich and sinewy on the palate with a dry-yet-fruity medium-full body and a long, chewy cedar, roasted vegetable, and slate accented, chewy tannin finish. A powerful and brooding red blend to serve with prime rib and porterhouse. (tasted on Aug-09-2010)

Dense, reserved aromas of cassis custard, honeycomb, rhubarb pie, cocoa, smoked paprika, and earth follow through on a round, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with excellent depth and vibrant structure. Finishes with a long,olive accented, chewy tannin coda. A stately table wine to serve with the finest steaks. (tasted on Jul-19-2010)

Rich aromas of creamy mocha, seared back bacon, baked berries and spice follow through on a round, silky entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with excellent depth and mouthwatering acidity. Finishes with a dried berry, charcoal grilled meat, and cocoa accented fade. This wine scream for bbq. (tasted on Jul-19-2010)

Deep purple black color. Dense aromas of beeswax, dried berries, and peppery spice with a dryish medium-to-full body and a crisp honeyed apple skin, dusty earth, and toasted nut finish. Give this some time to evolve. (tasted on Oct-11-2010)

Nearly opaque deep garnet violet color. Unusual aromas of stewed okra, artichokes, green tomatoes, and mulberries follow through on a bold, round entry to a dryish medium-to-full body with pencil cedar and spice notes and a long, very firm, earthy, and woody cotton tannin finish. Needs time. (tasted on Jul-29-2010)
