Inky, blackish-ruby hue. Brooding, complex, minerally lead pencil and cassis aromas show classic varietal character. A lush entry leads a weighty, full-bodied palate with chewy tannins and big, ripe flavors. Big and intense through the finish. A heavyweight for a big steak. (tasted on Oct-15-2009)

Deep ruby-purple hue. Ripe, grapey black fruit aromas show good purity. A minerally entry leads a lean, moderately full-bodied palate with good grip and intensity. A structured, focused Cab that will work well with food. Great value. (tasted on Aug-15-2009)
