Deep garnet violet color. Blackberry pudding, creamy vanilla, and faint grilled pepper aromas follow through on a soft, supple entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body with a note of chocolate wafer cookie and sweet spices. Finishes with a long, tangy ripe berry driven fade with zesty acidity and balanced tannins. A powerful, yet graceful claret-styled zin with a deep core of fruit. (tasted on Feb-02-2009)

Ruby stain color. Spicy cherry sauce, pork rind, praline, varnished wood, and berry custard aromas follow through on a bright, supple entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-full body with tangy tart raspberry skin, cranberry,and melted chocolate bar notes. Finishes with a long, chewy tannin, slate, yellow pepper, and peppercorn fade. A big full throttled zin with zesty acidity to shine at the table. (tasted on Jan-27-2009)

Creamy mocha, prune, dried cherry, and spice aromas follow through on a soft, supple entry to a dryish medium body with sun dried tomato and melted chocolate on butter cookie notes. Finishes in a tart craisin and white pepper fade with dusty tannins. An earthy, peppery and rather elegant wine to serve with gourmet pizzas. (tasted on Jan-27-2009)

Finishes with a crisp, tangy and lightly peppery finish. A very nice, textbook zinfandel. (tasted on Jan-27-2009)

Bright aromas of earthy rhubarb, oily salmon, cranberry sauce, and spice follow through on a rich, supple entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-full body with dried cranberry and cherry and sundried tomato notes. Finishes in a tangy, refreshing chocolate covered tangerine peel, raisin, and cedar accented fade with chewy tannins. A delicious and exotic zin that is balanced and harmonious. Deep violet color. Beeswax, cocoa dusted berry, and mocha aromas follow through on a fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body with layers of vanilla accented and baking spices. Finishes with a tangy, chocolate covered raisin and spice fad. Very nice, sexy zin for sipping or the table. (tasted on Feb-02-2009)
