Violet color. Blackberries, buttercream frosting, and pistachio praline aromas follow through on a round, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with dried sour cherry and baking spice notes. Deep ruby black color. Exotic aromas of peppermint oil, eucalyptus, and dried cherries, and nougat follow through on a soft, supple entry to a dryish medium body with notes of tomato skin, pickling spice, raisins, and pink peppercorns. Finishes with a spicy, lingering cigar box and roasted pepper accented fade. A lively and unique wood aged style to serve with grilled prime rib. (tasted on Dec-18-2008)

Deep ruby color. Earthy crushed raspberry and pencil shaving aromas follow through on a soft, satiny entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with a delicate touch of spice and crabapple. Finishes in lingering spiced poached apple, mineral, and wet cedar fade with lightly pithy tannins. A very nice table wine; pair with ostrich. (tasted on Nov-15-2008)

Garnet violet color. Inviting aromas of huckleberry custard and raspberry-cherry sorbet follow through on a supple, brisk entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with a touch of sweet pepper and a spicy, fairly tannic fade. Give this some time to round out the tannins. (tasted on Jan-05-2009)
