Ruby black color. Forward aromas of pickled peppers, violet candy, blackberry butter, and chocolate fudge with a supple, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a long, chewy nut, beet, and spice nuanced finish. A delicious, expertly blended red. Pair with cassoulet. (tasted on Jun-11-2012)
