Dusty ruby color. Bright earthy aromas of peat moss, red clay, tomatoes on the vine, and and plum pie are very Bordeaux-like and follow through on a smooth, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with velvety chocolate and pomegranate seed notes. Finishes with a long, dusty tannin fade with a great interplay of berry, earth, and wood tones. Impressive! (tasted on Apr-15-2009)

Deep ruby color with a violet rim. Menthol, white chocolate and boysenberry aromas follow through on a round, racy entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-full body with craisin, dried blueberry and tomato paste notes. Finishes with a nutty, chewy tannin fade. Intense highly extracted show style flavors and texture. (tasted on Apr-15-2009)

Aromas of chocolate covered cranberries with a touch of menthol follow through on a round, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with black raspberry, cedar, and delicate cinnamon notes. Brilliant garnet color. Black cherry ,warm tapioca, and delicate nutmeg aromas follow trough on brisk, round entry to a dryish medium body with cranberry skin and cedar notes. Finishes with a crisp, slightly papery powdery tannin fade. Pair with goat burgers. (tasted on Apr-15-2009)
