Vibrant aromas of baked currant, vanilla toffee, putty, and sandalwood follow through on a soft, juicy entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with good depth and spiciness. Finishes with a touch of roasted beet, pomegranate, and pepper on the chewy tannin fade. A very nice table wine that will go great with pot roasts. (tasted on Feb-17-2010)
