83 • Summerhill Pyramid 2007 Robert Bateman "GTK" Series, Pinot Noir Icewine, Okanagan Valley $65/200 ml.  Certified Organic
Pale russet crimson color. Bold smoky aromas of char-grilled back bacon and faint raisin and figs follow through on a supple entry to a honey sweet and smoky with great intensity, plum and cranberry jam notes and a lingering herbal and smoked pine and flower accented finish. Very odd, but intriguing as well. Maybe pair with exotic smoked cheeses and fishes. (tasted on Mar-22-2010)
