Rum is the principal alcoholic spirit produced in the Philippines; there are white and gold versions and most are well made, elegant rums meant for cocktails. These are priced along the lines of competing rums from the Caribbean.
Small amounts of blended whiskey, vodka and brandy (this last, made in various levels of aging and quality) that are produced by a few large distillers.
