Aromas of dried flowers, dried peach, date chutney and delicate spices follow through on a smooth, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with salted nuts, leather, and praline notes. Complex and subtle aromas of soda bread, anise cookie, melted butter, leather, praline, and lilacs follow through on a soft, silky entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with toffee, golden raisin puree, candied ginger and pepper spice. Finishes with a zesty, peppery dried citrus, white chocolate and mossy river stone fade. An impressively elegant and articulated single malt. (tasted on Apr-16-2009)

Bold aromas of peat, iodine, baklava, and creme caramel follow through on a rich, satiny entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-full body with layer of buttercream, dried fruits, pine cone ash, oat cereal, and sweet spice. Finishes with a long interplay of cream, spice, and iodine laced part. Impressive, different and fun. (tasted on Apr-16-2009)
