Deep garnet color. Jammy berry, vanilla, chocolate, and light bacon aromas follow through on a round, supple entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body with great balance and depth. Finishes in a long, tangy fade. A very nice claret style zin for the table; try with pasta carbonara (tasted on Jan-04-2010)

Inky violet color. Mild boysenberry and spice aromas are somewhat closed at present and follow through on a supple entry to fruity sweet medium-full body with very good depth and understated balance. Finishes with cocoa, caramel, and earth accented fade. A keeper. (tasted on Jul-01-2010)

Interesting aromas of ayurvedic mint toothpaste, incense, berry vinaigrette, honeycomb, and worn leather follow through on a round, brisk entry to a dryish medium body with pomegranate notes and a chewy, dusty tannin finish. Pair with spicy, lamb curry. (tasted on Jan-04-2010)
