Deep, saturated ruby hue. Ripe, peppery, minerally black fruit aromas show great complexities. A ripe entry leads a roasted, full-bodied palate with blackberry and bacon flavors showing a good dollop of Syrah. Pure, lengthy finish. Drinking well now. An almost unbelievable value. Garnet color. Aromas of cherry sauce, floral plum, and sweet roasted plantain follow through on a silky entry to a fruity-yet-dry light-to-medium body with good depth of bright fruit. Finishes with a touch of toffee and sandalwood. A tasty crowd pleasing sipper. (tasted on Aug-31-2009)

Deep garnet with a violet cast. Aromas of melted toffee and dried currants follow through on a round, supple entry to a fruity medium body with cherry jam and delicate spicy apple sauce notes. Finishes with a crisp, smoky nutty fade. An appealing sipper or burger wine. (tasted on Aug-03-2009)

Deep ruby-garnet hue. Perfumed sandalwood and cassis aromas have an integrated oak influence. A ripe entry leads a generous, full-bodied palate with supple, velvety tannins. A big, heavyweight style with good depth of flavor that will work well with wintery stews and pastas. (tasted on Aug-15-2009)

Lovely aromas of spicy vanilla cherry taffy and boysenberry jam follow through on rich entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body with tangy spicy orange cake and watermelon rind notes.
