Aromas of mocha and blackberry gelatos with a silky, fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a tangy, plum, cocoa, nuts and peppery spice accented finish. A very nicely balanced merlot with great varietal character and judicious oak. Enjoy on its own or with spicy roasted pork. (tasted on Sep-20-2012)
