Deep garnet violet color. Bright aromas of floral boysenberries and blueberries, vanilla cream, cedar, and delicate peppery spice follow through on a smooth, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-full body with hints of toffee and minerals. Finishes with a long, tangy berry skin and citrus peel accented fade. Nice style and balance; pair with spicy Vietnamese duck and beef dishes. (tasted on Jun-05-2009)
