Deep garnet color. Polished aromas of cherry butter, plum, and raisin have a hint of pepper dust and follow through on a soft, silky entry to fruity medium-to-full body with cedar, tobacco, and mineral notes. Aromas of honeycomb, floral talc, dried cherry and blueberry follow through on a silky entry to fruity medium-full body with leather, tobacco, and cedar notes and a raisin and citrus pith accented fade. (tasted on Jun-08-2009)

Deep, nearly opaque garnet color. Mellow aromas of raisin puree, prune, buttercream, and dried cherry follow through on a round entry to a fruity sweet medium-to-full body with nutskins and praline notes. Finishes with tangy, slightly pithy tea-like tannin fade. Give this a few years and try with lava cake. (tasted on Jun-08-2009)

Opaque ruby black color. Aromas of toffee, fig paste, and hot pepper follow through on a soft, silky entry to a fruity medium body with a lingonberry, mineral, and vanilla cream notes. Finishes with a milky chocolate, craisin and firm dusty tannin fade. (tasted on Jun-08-2009)

Pale silvery straw color. Interesting aromas of poached pear, white chocolate and butterscotch schnapps follow through on an a silky entry to a sweet and sour medium body with melted beeswax, dried grapefruit, and nut fudge wrapper notes on the zippy, hot peppery fade. Curious; try with club soda and lime. (tasted on Jun-08-2009)

Deep golden amber color. Interesting sherry like aromas of baguette dough and flour, apple cider soaked raisins, and nuts follow through on a limp entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with oxidized raisin box, apple bobbing water, and burnt sugar notes. Finishes with a roasted nut and earth fade; try using it like a sherry in cocktail. (tasted on Jun-08-2009)
