Deep amber color. Vivid dimensional aromas of dried apricot, apricot cider, butter roasted nuts and buttercream follow through on a plush, velvety entry to a fruity-yet-dry full body with great texture and depth. Finishes with a tangy, dried apricot skin, dusty mineral, and peppery spice flourish. A delicious and pure dessert wine or cocktail inspiration. (tasted on Jul-12-2010)

Pale golden straw color. Bright candied ginger and mild tropical fruit salad aromas. Round and glycerous with a fruity sweet medium-full body. Aromas of blackberry-raisin chutney, light molasses, cocoa, and wet cedar follow through on a round entry to fruity sweet medium-to-full body with very good depth and tangy mouthwatering acidity. Finishes with a long spicy raisin and dusty mineral fade. Tasty and vibrant. (tasted on Jul-12-2010)
88 • Chestnut Run Farm NV Semi-Sweet Asian Pear Wine $11.99. Best Buy.
Pale golden silver color. Aromas of lychee, starfruit, and honey cream. Round and satiny with a fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body. Delicate potpourri and spice peach and pear notes on the tangy, mineral kissed finish. A very nice after dinner wine to serve with cheeses. (tasted on Aug-16-2010)
88 • Chestnut Run Farm NV Fuji Apple Wine $12.99. Best Buy.
Pale golden yellow color. Pure crushed apple and raw honey aromas have an earthy yeasty edge. Soft and silky with a tangy, dry-yet-fruity medium body. Tart dusty apple and nutshell finish with good intensity, purity and length. Very reminiscent of British "scrumpy" cider, without the carbonation. (tasted on Aug-16-2010)
