Inky garnet maroon color with a brownish brick rim. Aromas of mashed dried currants and prunes, fig paste, spice cake, and creamy mint follow through on a round, supple entry to a fruity sweet medium body with very good depth and balance. Finishes with a tangy, craisin, pink peppercorn, and wet limestone accented finish. Nice complexity and style. (tasted on Jul-01-2010)

Inky violet color. Mild boysenberry and spice aromas are somewhat closed at present and follow through on a supple entry to fruity sweet medium-full body with very good depth and understated balance. Finishes with cocoa, caramel, and earth accented fade. A keeper. (tasted on Jul-01-2010)

Opaque inky garnet color. Dense aromas of baked cassis, sundried tomato and delicate herbs and spices follow through on a round, supple entry to a fruity sweet medium body with hints of menthol, clove, and peppery spices on the zesty, peppery, powdery tannin finish. (tasted on Jul-01-2010)

Ruby with an orange brick rim. Aromas of raisin compote, toasted almond and white peppercorns follow through on a soft entry to a tart and fruity medium body with good depth and cocoa, amontillado, and nutshell notes on the mellow, peppery finish. A nice, mature, sherry-like dessert wine to serve with cheeses, dried fruits and nuts. (tasted on Jul-15-2010)
