Inky purple black color. Chocolate wafer, cassis jam, suede, sweet spice, and olive tapenade aromas follow through on a round, supple entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body with black cherry and toffee notes. Finishes with a long, decadent tangy berry, apple, and nut fade. A nicely balanced show style cab that will pair nicely with spicy Latin beef dishes. (tasted on Jan-19-2009)
