Aromas of chocolate, dried lavender, bilberry, and thyme follow through on a brisk entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with dried cherry, tomato and berry notes and a tangy, dusty mineral and cedar tannin fade. Deep ruby color. Aromas of cherry compote, clay, and vanilla bean follow through on a soft, satiny entry to fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body with powerful sour cherry,potpourri, and pepper notes. Finishes with a long, tangy mouthwatering wet mineral accented fade. Nice purity and intensity of cherry fruit. A perky, natural choice for pork loin. (tasted on Feb-02-2009)

Deep ruby color with a violet rim. Chocolate, mint, sage, and boysenberry custard aromas follow through on a soft, bright entry to a dryish medium body with pencil shaving and tomato notes.
