Opaque purple color. Dense, fairly closed aromas reveal a hint of blueberry compote, cocoa, and beeswax. A big round entry leads to a fruity-yet-dry medium-full body with tangy blackberry fruit and zesty baking spices. Finishes in a vibrant fine, chewy fruit tannin fade with zesty cranberry and citrus like acidity. A spot on, table friendly petite sirah hat will do nicely with spicy Latin beef dishes. Deep garnet violet color. Bold aromas of chocolate covered blueberries and cherry, vanilla peppermint fudge, and eucalyptus follow through on a round, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with very good depth and tangy pomegranate like acidity. Finishes with a long, chewy, warm, peppery fade. (tasted on Jan-04-2010)

Very deep garnet ruby black color. Interesting aromas of melted candle wax, roasted almonds, stewed plums, and muddy haystack follow through on a soft, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with tangy craisin, herb, menthol tobacco, and cocoa notes. Finishes with a long, powdery tannin fade. A distinctive wine to savor with exotically spicy Middle eastern lamb and goat dishes. (tasted on Jan-04-2010)

Aromas of coffee candy, roasted nuts, and chocolate covered cherries follow through on a round, supple entry to a rich, fruity-yet-dry medium-full body with gobs of ripe berry fruit and a mocha tones. Finishes with a long, woody tannin fade with sprinkles of black pepper dust. A big, blustery red to pair with deep dish pizza or carbonara pasta. (tasted on Nov-30-2009)

Interesting aromas of ayurvedic mint toothpaste, incense, berry vinaigrette, honeycomb, and worn leather follow through on a round, brisk entry to a dryish medium body with pomegranate notes and a chewy, dusty tannin finish. Pair with spicy, lamb curry. (tasted on Jan-04-2010)
