Deep ruby black color. Slightly stemmy aromas of beeswax candle, smoked pepper, and tomato-cranberry relish with a dry light-to-medium body and a grilled green tomato on the vine and apple core finish. Earthy and rustic. Needs food, serve with rabbit stew. (tasted on Jan-30-2012)
