Deep ruby color. Fruity crushed raspberry, nougat, and cocoa powder aromas follow through on a soft, breezy entry to a dryish light-to-medium body with bright apple skin and light pencil shaving notes. Ruby black color. Shy aromas of blackberries, graphite pencil, and dried apricots follow through on a silky entry to a dryish medium body with tangy tomato, browned apple, and spice note. Garnet with a red brick rim. Burnt brown sugar, mocha fudge, and baked boysenberry aromas have a hay edge and follow through on a soft, brisk entry to a dry medium body with a touch of crabapple, dusty spice box, and wet cedar on the tangy green tomato accented finish. (tasted on Dec-23-2008)

Chocolate covered espresso bean and crushed blackberry aromas follow through on a somewhat flat and dilute entry to a dry light-to-medium body with parchment paper and roasted nut notes. Finishes dryly with caramel apples and slate on the chewy tannin finish. (tasted on Dec-23-2008)
