87 • Felberjörgl 2007 Morillon Höchleit'n, Südsteiermark.
Pale straw color. Clementine soufflé, dried mango, and praline aromas follow through on a soft, silky entry to a dryish light-to-medium body with hay, cornichon, and honeyed orange and lime peel notes. Finishes with a crisp, refreshing and lingering mossy stone accented fade. A nice lighter bodied chardonnay style that will make an excellent foil for scallops. (tasted on Jan-14-2009)

Pale straw color. Shy aromas of praline, crème brulee, and baked pineapple and lemon follow through on a zesty entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with smoky minerality and bright lime notes of the crisp finish. A nice choice for oysters. (tasted on Nov-15-2008)
86 • Gesellmann 2007 Chardonnay, Burgenland.
Pale golden color. Baked apple, praline, and delicate spice aromas. A racy entry to tart, dryish light-to-medium body with pineapple rind, lime zest, and lightly smoky mineral notes. Finishes with a zest, lingering chalk and grapefruit rind fade. A very brightly acidic choice oysters. (tasted on Nov-15-2008)
85 • Haus Marienberg 2007 MAD Premium, Chardonnay, Neusiedlersee-Hügelland.
Bright golden color. Lightly spicy aroma of peach custard, melon, and lychee follow through on a bright entry to a dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body with spearmint, flint, and tart green apple notes. Finishes with crisp, tangy and delicately smoky mineral accented fade. (tasted on Nov-15-2008)

Golden straw color. Roasted pecan, dark caramel, and baked apple and melon aromas follow through on a soft, round entry leads to a dryish medium body with bright lemon and lime notes. Finishes with a nice wet stone minerality and citrus pith. (tasted on Nov-15-2008)
