Complex and subtle aromas of roasted pepper, green olive, bacon, nuts and leather follow through perfectly on a soft supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-full body with a vibrant current of currants and plum underneath. Finishes with a long, stimulating fade with accents of baking spices and tilled earth. An exquisite table wine to pair with filet mignon. (tasted on Feb-09-2009)

Garnet color. Chocolate covered espresso bean, oiled teak, black cherry taffy aromas follow through on round, zesty entry to a dryish medium body with dried currant and chocolate apple fondue notes. Finishes with bright cherry skin, mint tea, and mocha fade with super fine, talc-like tannins. An attractive, zesty, and balanced wine to serve with a variety of spicy beef or lamb dishes. Finishes with a long, pure, fruit,toffee, and mineral driven finish. A delicious and poised wine reminiscent of a fine right bank Bordeaux wine with an American twist. (tasted on Feb-09-2009)
