Garnet violet color. Bright aromas of sweet raspberry jam and cherry custard follow through on a soft, supple entry to a dryish medium body with angel food cake notes and a tangy, dried sour cherry, cedar, and earth fade. A very nicely styled food wine; pair with meat and pasta dishes. (tasted on Mar-26-2009)

Garnet color with a violet cast. Aromas of strawberries in simple syrup on pound cake follow through on a soft, silky entry to a fruity, almost off-dry light-to-medium body with praline and cherry pit notes on the breezy finish. An attractive, off-dry sipper. Pair with spicy jambalaya. (tasted on Mar-26-2009)
