Deep garnet violet color. Lightly floral aromas of poached plums and pears, beeswax, clay, and cocoa follow through on a round, lively entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with black cherry, spice, and vanilla custard notes. Finishes with a long, tangy berry and powdery tannin fade. A superb table wine; pair with lamb tagine. (tasted on Jun-29-2009)

Garnet purple color. Cassis, blueberry, waxy chocolate, and earth aromas follow through on a round entry to a tangy, dryish medium body with tart raw cranberry, root vegetable, cinnamon and sandalwood notes. Finishes with a crisp, talc and powder tannin fade. Nice structure, give this a little time. (tasted on Jul-13-2009)

Opaque violet black color. Aromas of black cherry, cassis, chocolate mint cookie and clam shell follow through on a round, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with tangy red berry skin and vanilla custard notes. Finishes with a long, drying, powdery tannin fade. Needs time; pair with Latin beef dishes. (tasted on Jun-29-2009)

Deep ruby black color. Aromas of pistachio toffee, maple fudge, black cherry, and spice are reminiscent of spumoni and follow through on a crisp, entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium body with tart blackberry skin, raisin, and nutskin notes. Finishes with a whack of very firm oak tannins. This needs time. (tasted on Jun-29-2009)

Opaque garnet color. Bright aromas of dried sour cherries, golden raisins, turmeric, and artisan peppered chocolate follow through on a round, jolly entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with good depth and a touch of cranberry and apple cider vinegar and spice on the zesty fade with fine tannins. A fun, flavorful wine. (tasted on Jul-06-2009)

Deep garnet with a violet cast. Aromas of chocolate covered espresso beans, spicy blackberry pie, honeycomb, and tilled earth follow through on a round, silky entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with touches of fig, praline, and pomegranate sorbet on the long, chewy, tannin fade. Melted chocolate, roasted nuts, clay, raspberry, and dill pickle aromas follow through on a round, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with currant, cedar, tomato skin,and eucalyptus notes. Finishes with a tangy, earthy, chewy tannin fade. Try with lamb tagine. (tasted on Jul-13-2009)

Oily singed nuts, fondue chocolate,and baked berry aromas lead to a dryish medium body with mulberry, tomato on the vine, sautéed portabello, tilled earth and dust balsa-like tannin on the crisp finish. Pair with stews and portabello burgers. (tasted on Jul-13-2009)

Deep ruby red color. Aromas of salty smoked nuts, plum jam, melted chocolate, and singed leaves follow through on a brisk, buoyant entry to a dryish medium body with tart berry skin and nutshell notes. Finishes with a quick, stemmy berry fade. (tasted on Jun-29-2009)
