Sumptuous aromas of roasted hazelnuts, melted chocolate, and plum pie follow through on round, supple entry o a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with hints of tobacco, baking spices, and black pepper. Finishes with a long toffee, plum skin, and toasted cedar accented fade with silty tannins. A fabulous food wine to pair with grilled buffalo and boar. (tasted on Jul-13-2009)

Deep ruby black color. Aromas of mocha, poached plum, and toffee follow through on a round, supple entry to a fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body with good concentration and depth. Finishes with a touch of black cherry and peppery spice. A great sipper or pair with buffalo burgers. (tasted on Jun-29-2009)

Deep ruby black color. Aromas of plum, cocoa, and earth follow through on a supple entry to a dryish medium-to-full body with blackberry and graphite notes. Finishes with warming peppery fade with grainy tannins. A very nice table to pair with spicy Latin beef dishes. (tasted on Jul-04-2009)

Bright fruity aromas of cherry pie, strawberry jam, candied orange peel, and wax crayon follow through on a round entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with plum skin, currant, and delicate spice notes. Finishes in a crisp, juicy berry skin and nutty oak tannin fade with peppery, glue-like alcohol. An attractive table wine to pair with spicy Asian beef dishes. (tasted on Jul-13-2009)

Finishes with a crisp, dusty nutskin-like tannin fade. Rustic but interesting and funky; pair with venison. (tasted on Jul-13-2009)
